Specifying or scanning the lot or serial number

You must specify or scan the lot or serial number of the item to start the reporting of the non-conformance for the item.

To specify or scan the lot or serial number of the item:

  1. Select the NCR record on the Non-Conformance Reporting screen.
  2. Select the Lots and Serials option to specify the value manually. You can also scan the serial number/lot number, using QR code (QR or BAR code).
    Note: 

    For serialized items, the lot number is automatically retrieved when you specify the serial number.
