Running the General Ledger Transaction Report

  1. Open the General Ledger Transaction Report.
  2. Select the check boxes for the account types you want to include in the report:
    • Asset
    • Liability
    • Owner's Equity
    • Revenue
    • Expense
    • Analytical
  3. Select the information you want to include in the report:
    Print Internal/External Notes
    Select this check box to print internal or external notes on the report.
    Use Analytical Ledger
    Select this check box to process only analytical accounts.
    Display Report Header
    Select this check box to print report headers on the report.
  4. In the Sort By field, select the method by which to sort the report:
    • Transaction: Sort general ledger transactions by Transaction number. The system automatically assigns each transaction a number when the transaction is posted to the ledger from the journals.
    • Reference: Sort general ledger transactions by Reference number.
  5. For these fields, select the range of values to include in the report:
    • Transaction
    • Transaction Date
    • Account
    • Account Unit (1-4)
    • Reference
  6. Select Increment Date to automatically increment the date range and re-run the report.
  7. Click Preview to view the output before printing.
  8. Click Print to run the report and view the output.
