System Administrator Home - Navigator Tab

The Navigator tab on the System Administrator Home form includes these tabs:

  • User Permissions: This tab displays the privileges assigned to each user/form combination.
  • User Modules: This tab displays the module(s) that each user has permission to access.
  • Unanswered Messages: This tab displays all unanswered messages in the event system inbox.
  • Background Task Management: This tab displays essential information about all current, active background tasks. For a complete record of each task, view the Active Background Tasks form.
  • DB Statistics: This tab displays the number of rows in each CloudSuite Industrial table and other database statistics. The Update Statistics and Rebuild Indexes fields each have three possible graphics that are displayed as recommendations, as described in this table:

    Update Statistics If the change in table size is less than 10% AND the statistics were updated less than 14 days ago If the change in table size is greater than or equal to 10% AND the statistics were updated more than 14 days ago and less than 30 days ago If the change in table size is greater than or equal to AND the statistics were updated more than 30 days ago.
    Rebuild Indexes Less than 5% fragmentation Fragmentation is between 5% and 30% Fragmentation is greater than 30%
  • Background Task Analysis: This tab displays a list of all CloudSuite Industrial tasks in the BGTaskHistory table along with information about task execution.

    Use the start/end dates to limit the list of tasks. Select Detail to display additional information about the task selected in the main grid.

    The main grid shows Background Task History information summarized by the task name. This includes the number of times the task was successfully executed, information about the duration of the task and delays during the execution.

    • Successful Run Count is defined as records with a Completion Date where Error Message is blank.
    • Duration is the time in seconds between Start and Completion Dates.
    • Delay is the time in seconds between Submission and Start Dates.

    The Detail grid shows Background Task History records for the currently selected task in the main grid.
