Adding a Lead Source to the List

You can add lead sources, such as trade shows and advertisements, to the list of available lead sources.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

To add lead source:

  1. On the Administration menu, right-click Lead Sources and select New Lead Source.
  2. Complete the lead source fields:
    Description
    Specify a description for the lead source.
    Abbrev. Desc.
    Specify a short description for the lead source.
    Type
    Click the drop-down arrow and select an item from the list.
    Status
    Click the drop-down arrow and select an item from the list.
    Cost

    Enter the cost associated with producing the lead source.

    Date
    To specify a date, click (Calendar) and select a date.
  3. Click (Save).
