Emailing Single Contact or Lead

To email a single contact or lead:

  1. Use one of these methods:
    1. On the Contacts or Leads detail view, click (email button) for the email address or from the Write menu, select Email.
    2. From the Contact or Lead List view, click an email hyperlink or right-click a record and select Email.
    3. From the Task Pane, click Email.
  2. If email is enabled, but you have not logged on, at the message field, click Yes to log on.
  3. Complete the Subject field and message body of the new email window.
  4. (Optional) If the email message requires an attachment, click Insert, and then select one of the menu options.
    1. Click Send. The message is not recorded in history.
    2. If using Microsoft Outlook, click the Send to CRM button. If you attached a file and want to save the file as an attachment, click Yes at the prompt. The email message is recorded to history, and the file appears on the Attachments tab.
    Note: Graphic files smaller than the minimum size set by the administrator are not be saved as separate attachments.
