Creating a New Account from a Sales Order

You can create a sales order before you create an account or contact. If the prospect decides to do business with the company, you can create a new account and contact from the sales order with limited company and contact information.

To create:

  1. Create a new sales order.
  2. Click (Add Account/Contact).
  3. In the Quick Insert Account Contact window, add the following:
    Account
    Specify an account name.
    Type
    Select the account type.
    Main
    Specify the main office phone number.
    Address
    Add the account 's business address.
    Contact
    Specify a contact name.
    Title

    Specify or select the contact 's title.

    Main

    Specify the contact's phone number.

    Mobile

    Specify the contact's mobile phone number.

    Email

    Specify the contact's email address.

  4. Click OK
  5. Click (Save).
