Filtering Targets

Use Include filter options to limit the target contacts and leads that display in the list. You can apply a filter by selecting the check box. The filters will retain the last selection(s) as the default values.

To apply filters:

  1. Open the Lookup Targets List screen.
  2. In the Include field, select the radio button for the target to be included. The available options are:
    • Leads (unqualified)
    • Accounts (only Primary Contact)
    • Accounts (all Contacts)
    • Contacts (individuals)
  3. Select the check box(es) of the filter(s) you want to apply.
    Company Name
    Filter by company name.
    Industry
    Filter by industry.
    SIC
    Filter by SIC. You can enter multiple values, separated by commas.
    Title
    Filter by contact or lead title.
    Products Owned
    Filter by the products owned by the contact or lead.
    Status
    Filter by contact or lead status.
    City
    Filter by city. You can enter multiple cities, separated by commas.
    State
    Filter by state. You can enter multiple states, separated by commas.
    Postal Code
    Filter by postal code. You can enter multiple postal codes, separated by commas.
    Lead Source
    Filter by lead or contact lead source.
    Import Source
    Filter lead import source.
    Create Date
    Filter by contact or lead creation date. You can select a date range.
    Note: Depending on the type of target selected to be included, some filters are not displayed.
  4. From the drop-down list, select a condition statement. Choices include Starting with, Contains, Equal to, Not equal to, Equal or less than, Equal or greater than, Less than, and Greater than.
  5. Type or select the conditional information.
  6. If you want to include in the campaign those contacts or leads marked Do Not Solicit, select the Include Do Not Solicit check box or one or more of the following check boxes:
    • Include Do Not Email
    • Include Do Not Call
    • Include Do Not Mail
    • Include Do Not Fax
  7. To find out how many targets meet the filter criteria before searching, click the How Many? button.
  8. Click Search
    Note: To clear filters, click Clear All.
