Alert processes

To create a task, you must specify at least one process. The Processes section displays the processes you have created for your task. The order of execution, the type of process and a value used by the process, are indicated by Process, Type and Details, respectively.

Process indicates the order of execution of the processes. Drag and drop a process above or below another process, to change the execution order.

Type displays the type of the process. There are three types of process:

  • Microsoft® Office Excel Workbook Process: Select a process for your workbook, such as print, save, or convert to PDF.
  • Command Line Process: Specify a program command to run on the command line.
  • E-mail: Specify an E-mail address.

A value for each process is displayed under Details:

  • Microsoft Excel Workbook Process: The process value is the name of the Excel workbook used in the process.
  • Command Line Process: The process value is the command line instruction to be run.
  • E-mail: The process value is the address of the e-mail recipient.
