Managing database interfaces

In general you use several Infor BI programs which save data in Repository. These programs may require different interface versions. All interface versions are contained in Repository. By default, however, only the latest version is active, to save memory. An interface version consists of a set of Stored Procedures used for the data transfer between the programs and Repository. Required versions which are not active, are issued in an error message of the program which accesses Repository.

You enable and disable the interface versions in the dialog Database Interfaces. To open the dialog, right-click the registration of the repository and select the command All Tasks > Database Interfaces. In the dialog select the interface versions and click Enable or Disable.

Note:  To manage the database interfaces, you must have the Administer Repository permission.

See Repository Permission Management.
