Repository Properties

In the Repository Properties dialog, you specify the timeout value of the repository database. The timeout is the time, a database request may last, before a timeout message is displayed.

To open the Repository Properties dialog, right-click the registration and select All Tasks > Repository Properties (there must be a connection).

To specify the timeout, enter the value in seconds. Enter 0, to disable timeout.

Note:

To change the timeout value, you require the permission Administer Repository:

Repository Permission Management

To enable the Auditing feature in Repository, select the Activate auditing check box. When you enable the Auditing feature, security auditing data of Repository and Financial Consolidation is recorded. Typical auditing data of the Repository is security-related, that is, changes of the User Management or authorizations of any object. By default, auditing is disabled. Once you enable auditing, you cannot disable it again. When you enable auditing, a message is shown to inform you that you cannot cancel this action.

For a description of the Auditing feature, see this topic:

Auditing

Note: To use the Auditing feature, you must have the permission Administer Audit on the Repository Permission Management level. The permission allows a user to view and search for audit entries. By default, the permission is not assigned to any user and no built-in role has this permission.
