Administering Databases

Before registering databases in the Administration Console, you must provide a list of available databases for the Communication Manager. The shortcut menu of the Local computer offers for this purpose the following commands:

  • New Database..., see Creating a Database
  • Add Databases...
  • Remove Databases...
  • Import Database...
Note: If a new database is created, or a database added to the computer while Infor BI Office Plus is running, a Database Alias for this database can be created, but it is not be displayed in the Cubes and Data Areas dialog nor in the Dimensions and Subsets dialog. Restart Infor BI Office Plus in this case.
