Creating a Database

To create a database:

  1. Right-click Local Computer and select New Database. The New Database Wizard is displayed.
    The introductory window of the wizard explains the steps to create a new database.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Enter the name of the database. Click Next.
  4. Select a Repository registration, the authentication mode and enter the credentials.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select a project name or enter a new one and select an OLAP Permissions Management or create a new one.
  7. Click Next.
  8. A summary of the new database is displayed. Click Finish to finish the wizard.
