Creating an AETC request for shipper

Use this page to create the Authorized Excess Transportation Cost (AETC) request for the shipment.

To create an AETC request:

  1. Select Shipments > View Shippers. The Open Shipper page is displayed.
  2. Specify the search criteria.
  3. Click Continue. The Shippers page is displayed.
  4. Click Edit corresponding to the shipper. The Shipper detail page is displayed.
  5. Click AETC Request in the Header Information section. The AETC Request Information page is displayed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Excess Cost
    The additional amount related to the shipping that exceeds the contractual terms.
    Comments
    The additional information related to the AETC request.
  7. Click Submit. The Shipper detail page is displayed.
