Clearing Posted Imports

When Ledger Import posts a batch of journals it automatically deletes the journal transactions from the ledger import tables. However, prior to version 5.1.4 of Financials, Ledger Import automatically deleted the journal transactions but left the journal headers for reference. Clear Posted Imports (CPI) removes all of the posted import file headers up to a selected date from the ledger import tables.

To clear posted import files:

  1. Select Clear Posted Imports (CPI) from SunSystems.
  2. On the Clear Posted Imports form, enter the following selection parameters to determine the import files to be removed:
    Date/Time Last Updated
    The date up to which posted import files are removed.
  3. Select All to remove all posted import files.
