Setting Up the Infor ERP Adage Foundation

  1. Read in all of the information you need for your model until you have reached the process-step level for which you need information. To do this, you need to define all the required interfaces, which can be used by clicking Generate in the Infor ERP Adage - Connection Setup dialog box.
    1. Ensure that these interfaces are in a group. See Creating an Interface Group.
    2. Open the Infor ERP Adage - Foundation Setup dialog box, by selecting Integration > Infor ERP Adage > Foundation setup.
    3. Select the first interface group from the first group drop-down list box.
  2. Create the missing delivery stages. If you wish, these can be created for you. Select the automatically create delivery stages between groups check box.
  3. Read in the rest of the information you need for your model - that is, starting from the level for which you need process-step information. To do this, you need to define all of the appropriate interfaces, which can be generated by clicking Generate in the Infor ERP Adage - Connection Setup dialog box.
    1. Ensure that these interfaces are in a group. See Creating an Interface Group.
    2. Open the Infor ERP Adage - Foundation Setup dialog box, by selecting Integration > Infor ERP Adage > Foundation setup.
    3. Choose the first interface group from the second group drop-down list. This group is used after using the first group to read the information from Infor ERP Adage.
  4. Click OK.
    Note:  Ensure that the information in the Infor ERP Adage - Connection Setup dialog box is correct and properly filled in. With this done, you should be able to import foundation data through the menu path, Integration > Infor ERP Adage > Import foundation data. Otherwise, the Import foundation data menu is grayed out.
