Setting Up the Infor ERP Adage Connection
- Select Integration > Infor ERP Adage > Connection setup.

Enter your login name and password.
The constraints for the character string depend on the database you have chosen. Once you have entered your login information, the link set-up will connect to the database and retrieve the appropriate profile table. If it cannot find it, it will display an error message indicating what is wrong.Note: If the search is successful, you can find the entries in the table by clicking the profile drop-down menu.

Click
Generate.
The Generate dialog box opens. This dialog box allows you to select the type of interfaces to export and/or import.

In the
Generate dialog box, choose the interfaces,
statuses, and queries that you want to generate.
The choices in the Generate dialog box are categorized import, export, and other.

Click
OK in the
Generate dialog box.
The interfaces will be generated and you will be returned to the Infor ERP Adage - Connection Setup dialog box.
- Choose a profile from the profile drop-down menu.
- If you want, you can update the company, plant, and model information in the appropriate fields.
- If using transaction files instead of exporting to a database, specify the path where the information that Infor Production Scheduling will pass to Infor ERP Adage needs to be written.

Click
OK to close the window.
Note: Once you have filled out the information in the Infor ERP Adage - Connection Setup dialog box, you will need to ensure that the foundation set-up information has been filled in correctly. If it has, you will be able to import foundation data by choosing the menu Integration > Infor ERP Adage > Import foundation data. Otherwise, the Import foundation data menu choice will be dimmed.
