Joining Batches
- In the planning board, select at least two process batches or tank batches.

Select
Schedule > Join.
The Join dialog box is displayed.

To join overlapping batches as adjacent batches, select
adjacent only and choose
one of these options:
- adjacent if within
- To join overlapping batches, select this option and specify the overlapping interval.
- adjacent if successive
- To join only successive batches, select this option.

To join tank batches or process batches on their inflow, outflow,
or both, use the
join inflow and
join outflow options.
For example, you can join all the process batches that flow out to the same tank batch.
Option Description join inflow To join all the batches that flow from the same batch, select this option. join outflow To join all the batches that flow to the same batch, select this option. join inflow and join outflow To join all the batches that flow from the same batch and flow to the same batch, select these options. - To join linked batches only, select linked only.
- To join only batches that use the same resource, select on same resource only.

To join batches together in a period, select
use cycle and select a
cycle.
If you select this checkbox, the batches that belong to the same cycle period are joined.

To join batches on fields of any related order, select
if field values are the
same and select an entity and a field of the entity.
The entity can be a process batch, a tank batch, or an order.
For example, if you select the order entity, the search method for the related order is the same as for any related order in the interfaces. If several orders are connected, the first order that is filled by the selected batch is considered only.
- To display information messages in a window, select with info messages.
- Click OK.
