Creating an Interface - Parameters Tab
-
Select
Integration > Interfaces.
The Interfaces overview window is displayed.
-
Click
New.
A dialog box is displayed.
- Enter a unique code for the new interface.
-
Select
Bucketizer from the entity list box.
This specifies the data that is exchanged when the interface is run.
- Select Write as the interface mode.
- Choose the type of toolkit to be used.
-
Click the
OK button.
The Interface Entry window opens.
-
Click the
Parameters tab.
Note: The Parameters tab is only available if the bucketizer, inventory level, or resource utilization export entities has been selected and it is a write interface.
-
Select the reference point from the list box. If you choose the
other option from the list box, define a date and time in the fields below.
Note: Your normal reference point is the start of the work area.
- Enter the number of buckets you wish to export in the count field.
- Enter the duration and unit of time for each individual bucket.
- Assign an identifier offset, if you want your bucket to be labeled with a different day from the day on which it actually begins.
-
If your external system specifies buckets beginning at a point in
time that does not coincide with your reference point selection, you can use
the method options to force exported data into buckets beginning at a different
point in time.
For example, while you may prefer to use a work area beginning at 00:00:00 every Monday in Infor Production Scheduling, another system may begin its working week at 00:00:00 on Sunday.
-
Use the
Select button to select
the resource groups to which you want to apply this.
The Resource Group Selection dialog box opens.
- Click the OK button to save your changes and close the window. Alternatively, continue populating tabs on this window.
