Creating an Interface Group - General Tab

  1. Select Integration > Interface Groups.
    The Interface Groups overview window opens.
  2. Click New.
    A dialog box is displayed.
  3. Enter a unique code for the interface group.
  4. Click the OK button.
    The Interface Group Entry window is displayed. The General tab is selected by default.
  5. Enter a description of the interface group.
  6. Clear the active check box if you do not want to activate this interface group now.
  7. Select the with messages check box if you want the messages generated by the run of an interface group to be retained and shown when the interface run is completed.
    Note:  To optimize troubleshooting and integration performances, the run time and status of each interface in the group are logged. The status can be "error", "not active", "success", or "canceled or error."
  8. Clear the show in menu check box if you do not want this interface group to show in the Interfaces menu.
  9. Enter a pre-command or post-command, if desired.
  10. Click the OK button to save your changes and close the window. Alternatively, continue populating tabs on this window.
