Creating a View - Resources Tab

  1. Select Factory > Views.
    The Views overview window is displayed.
  2. Click New.
    A dialog box is displayed.
  3. Enter a unique code for the new view.
  4. Click OK.
    The View entry window is displayed.
  5. Click the Resources tab.
  6. Select the resources panel to be modified from the drop-down list box.
    The list contains only the resource panels that you selected in the General tab of the View entry window.
  7. The resources column lists the resources selected to be shown on the view. To add additional resources, click the Select button.
    The Resource Selection dialog box is displayed.
  8. After selecting the resources in the selection dialog box, click OK.
    The selection dialog box closes.
  9. If desired, change the order in which the resources are displayed by dragging and dropping resources.
    The line column indicates if a line is drawn to separate one resource from the next.
  10. Double-click in the corresponding cell to enable the line. Double-click again to clear the line.
    The repr. (representation) column contains a list box with the options default, single, double, and level. These are used to define how the batches for that resource are actually shown on the tab.
  11. You can select your default from the default repr. drop-down list box.
    If you change the default representation the result is visible on the planning board.
    Option Description
    Single This shows the segments in batches in singles ().
    Double This shows segments in batches together, that is, the inflow and outflow are shown together (), one on top of the other.
    Level This shows the levels of the resources in a graph.
  12. If you want to change the settings, enter the new values.
    The Settings group box contains two entry fields: resource height and level height.
  13. Select either the std. volume unit or std. weight unit option to choose how you want to see the graph. Select the cumulative check box to sum the graphs of overlapping batches.
  14. Click OK to save the view and close the window. Alternatively, continue populating tabs on this window.
