Sequence Code

A sequence code on a process step is usually used to minimize batch changeovers. It is one of the fields that can be used to prioritize batches in the schedule process batches and the distribute process batches functions. Sequence codes can also be used in multi-level sequences.  If sequence codes are used, no changeover times are calculated.
