Search When Creating a Macro

When creating a macro, you can add search criteria for filtering. The selection used when running the macro is that found by a specific search/selection within a macro action. When the function called by that action has been completed the selection is effectively lost and a current selection no longer exists. The exception is where you have a selection in place before the macro is activated, and then current selection has a meaning within the macro action. The search criteria displays in the Parameters column on the Macro Entry window. This field is enabled depending on the action selected when creating the macro.
