Duration Format

Duration Format refers to the format that time is displayed in. When defining preferences, you can define the format so time is displayed as you would like.

Below the Duration Format field is the Example field. When you select a duration format, you will see an example corresponding to your selection. If a duration is too long for the chosen format, the duration is indicated with stars. For example, if you specify HH:MM and enter a duration of 123 hours, it will not fit and will be displayed as **:**. If you specify a less accurate time format, all data entered will be shown at this reduced level of accuracy. For example, if you change your format to H:MM, then ALL your durations will be shown in this format.
