Buffer Time

Buffer time is the minimum time period required between the start of inflow and the start of outflow. You can introduce it into process steps on the Resource groups tab using the flow buffer method. For tank batches with this method, one speaks of a head-head relationship between inflow and outflow (in contrast to a tail-head relationship for "process" methods).
