About Quantities

For product batches, see batch quantity. For tank and process resources, see volume and weight. When you schedule process batches, the values you define for the latter limit the former: if your standard batch quantity is 50,000 liters, but a tank has a maximum capacity of 40,000 liters, the latter figure will be used in your schedule.

The smallest batch quantity is 0.0005. The overview windows display 2 decimals for a quantity field.
