Location hierarchy and price priority

Price Management uses a Location Hierarchy that is completely customizable to meet the needs of your business. The Location Hierarchy allows you to prioritize select location levels over others. For example, a retailer may want price change prices at the store level to prioritize prices over other location levels. This Location Hierarchy is:
  1. Store
  2. Metro
  3. Region
  4. National
Additionally, Price Management uses a configurable price logic called Price Prioritization to allow retailers to prioritize select price changes over others. For example, if a user creates a TPR price change for an item with an existing regular price, Price Management can be configured to prioritize the TPR price change over the regular price change. The system then applies that price for the item until the TPR price change meets its End Date.
Note: The Location Hierarchy and Price Prioritization settings are configured during the implementation of Price Management by the Infor Delivery team. The Location Hierarchy settings must be configured before the Price Prioritization settings. Work with the Infor Delivery team or your system administrator to configure these settings for your business.
Caution: These settings cannot be changed once they are set. Work with the Infor Delivery team during implementation to ensure the correct settings are configured for your business.
