External Requirements

The External Requirements component shows the external material demands.

On the Primary behavior tab, you can select the item numbers for which you want to display the externally demands. You can sort external requirements by item number. You can aggregate external requirements by order category, customer, and customer.

The external demands of these order categories are imported as standard:

Category	Description
311	Customer orders
500	Planned distribution order issues
501	Released distribution order issues
410	Requisition order released
411	Requisition order planned
610	Maintenance orders released
610	Maintenance orders planned

The order category 010 is assigned to forecast. Therefore, forecast are not imported as standard.

For simulation purposes, you can change the delivery terms on sales orders. Changes on sales orders are not updated to M3 server.
