Create or Edit an Archive Schedule

Archive is a process of copying old What-ifs, requests and Process Insight analyses from the Infor Risk & Compliance database to the database of your choice. This enables users to free up space by clearing large volumes of data that occupy space in the Infor Risk & Compliance database. Users can use an existing archive connection or create a new connection. Once the connection is created, you can create a schedule to archive data. However, only one archive task can be executed at any given time. If two tasks are scheduled at the same time, the second one will be queued.

Multiple archive tasks may be scheduled for a single connection. However, only one report will be generated for all these tasks. When the first archive task for that connection is executed, the Archive report is published on the Infor Risk & Compliance report server. The data of the other archive tasks will be added to this report.

Important: If you have updated your Infor Risk & Compliance application to a recent version, you must create a new archive database. Archiving analyses using connections created in the earlier version will not be successful.

Archive tasks will not impact extractions, analyses, What-ifs or requests and can run in parallel with them.

Note: Archiving a large number of objects can take a considerable amount of time. To optimize archive time, ensure that objects are archived in batches. The batch size and the maximum number of batches can be configured using ArchiveConfigSettings.xml. For details, see Infor Risk & Compliance Platform - Configuration Settings Guide.

Before scheduling an archive for the first time, disable Anonymous Access on the Infor Risk & Compliance reports server. Enable Anonymous Access after the first archive schedule is completed.
