Application Schema Columns Metadata

Use this form to define metadata used for AlphaKey (Next Key) generation for a column in the selected table.

Next Keys are alphanumeric keys whose system-generated value can have a prefix. For example, customer orders can include a prefix like CO-, so the order numbers would be CO-00001115, CO-00001116, and so on. The Next Key value is incremented to determine the next system-generated value for the key.

We recommend that you do not modify data that you did not create. If you do, your changes can be overwritten during an upgrade.
