Creating ION Workflow Field Mappings

The field mappings for ION workflow must be created to match the information between Infor CRM and ION Desk.

Note: Only the users with the Administrator role can execute this process.

To create an ION workflow field mapping:

  1. On the Navigation Bar, go to INTEGRATION > Integrations. The Integrations List view is displayed.
  2. Click ION Workflow. The ION Workflows tab is displayed in the ION Workflow Integration Detail view.
  3. Click a Workflow Name. The ION Workflow Field Mappings tab is displayed in the ION Workflow Detail view.
  4. Click +. The Insert Workflow Mapping window is displayed.
  5. Specify this information:
    Name
    The name of the workflow field mapping.
    Workflow Definition
    The workflow for which the mapping is created.
    Entity Name
    The entity for which the field mapping is defined.
    Parent
    The parent entity for the entity specified in the Entity Name field. This value can be null for the top-level entities.
    Sync Direction
    Identifies how information is synchronized between Infor CRM and ION Desk.

    The possible options are:

    • In: For inbound BODs.
    • Out: For outbound BODs.
    • Both: For inbound and outbound BODs.
    Property
    The field name of the entity that is mapped.
    Note: This value must be the same as the field mapping name specified in the Name field.
    Active
    If this check box is selected, the field mapping is activated.
    XPath
    The BOD element in which you can find the field mapping information. The value specified must correspond with the related Xpath from the noun element in the BOD XML message.

    Relation Name
    The description for the parent-child relationship.
    Note: This field is applicable only for a child entity. For a parent entity, this field must be blank.
    Custom
    Indicates that the field mapping is customized.
  6. Click OK.
