Creating a Workflow

A user with the Administrator role can create a workflow in Infor CRM.

To create a work flow:

  1. On the Navigation Bar, go to INTEGRATION > Integrations. The Integrations List view is displayed.
  2. Click ION Workflow. The ION Workflows tab is displayed in the ION Workflow Integration Detail view.
  3. Click +. The Insert ION Workflow Definition window is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Workflow Name
    The name of the workflow. This name must be the same as that defined in ION Desk.
    Note: The name is case sensitive and must not contain spaces.
    Entity
    The entity for which the workflow is created.
    Active
    If this check box is selected, the workflow is considered active.
    Approver Email List
    The email ID of the users who must be added to the list of approvers. This is optional. You can specify more than one email IDs separated by comma. Each email ID is populated as individual elements in the BOD xml.
    Auto Triggered
    If this check box is selected, the application triggers the workflow when the trigger condition is met.
    Lock Entity Fields
    If this check box is selected, the fields are disabled after the order is submitted for review. If this check box is cleared, the fields are not disabled and the data can be modified while the order is being reviewed.
  5. Click OK. The new workflow is displayed on the ION Workflows tab.
    Note: To use this workflow, the field mappings must be created.
