Copying and replacing all projects

Note:

To copy project data, you require the permission Administer Repository:

When you copy all projects to a different repository, the schema version of the source repository may be older than the internal schema version of the target repository:

Displaying database information

To copy all projects to another repository database:

Right-click the Projects folder and select All Tasks > Copy All Projects....
In the Specify Target dialog, select the registration of the target repository.

Note: The list that is shown only contains the registrations with an active connection.
Click Next.
In the Options dialog, specify this information:

Preserve user-specific settings

Select this option to keep the user-specific settings in the target repository, for example, the user variables of Infor BI Application Studio and Infor BI Office Plus, which are different for every user.

Replace user-specific settings

If you select this option, user-specific settings of the target repository are replaced.
Click Next and then Finish to start the copy process.
Click OK to complete the copy process.
