Exporting a project

Note:

To export a project, you require the permission Administer Repository:

When you export a project to a file that is used for import in a different repository, the schema version of the export file may be older than the internal schema version of the target repository:

Displaying database information

To export project data:

Right-click the project in the tree and select Export.... The Project Export Wizard opens.
Under Select Format, you can select these export options:
- Export whole Project (*.OD): Select this export option to exports the entire project including the content if your project is designed to run on-premise. Continue with step 3.
- Export Application Component (*.app_project): Select this export option to create an application component package for an Infor BI Services environment:

Click Next.
Under Export File, navigate to the target folder and specify the name of the export file. The file type All Project Data (*.od) is preselected. Default export file name: <Name of the Project>.od.
Click Save and then Finish to start the export process.
