Performance considerations

A cube can include 20 dimensions.

There are two rules for cube creation to optimize the performance of cubes:

1. If a dimension contains no consolidated elements, put it first in the list of dimensions in the right-hand pane.
2. If a dimension contains string elements, place this dimension last in the list of dimensions. The order of dimensions specified here will be the order of the dimensions in the arguments of any DBGET formulas referring to this cube.
