Configuring navigation

You can use the Enter, Shift and Tab keys to move the cursor between writeback cells:
Key Action
Left, Right, Up and Down cursor keys Navigates the active cell right, left, up or down as appropriate.
Enter One line down. If in Edit mode, Enter leaves Edit mode and accepts the entered value. It moves the active cell one line down. But see Note.
Shift+Enter One line up. But see Note.
Tab One cell to the right. If in Edit mode, Tab leaves Edit mode and accepts the entered value. See Note.
Shift+Tab One cell to the left. But see Note.
You can configure settings in Repository Administration to invert this behavior.
  1. Select Start > All Programs > Infor Business Intelligence > Repository Administration.
  2. Expand Repository Administration > Repository Registrations.
  3. Connect to the relevant registration.
  4. Expand [Repository registration] > Projects > Report Catalog > Settings.
  5. Specify the value of Next Write Back Cell. True moves the cursor to the next writeback cell to the right/below. False moves the cursor to the next writeback cell to the left left/up.

    Ctrl +Y Undo (repeated)
    Ctrl +Z Redo (repeated)
    only in Insert mode (blinking cursor in a cell):
    Ctrl +DEL Marks the active cell as deleted.
    F2 Puts the active cell into Edit mode.
    Enter characters Puts the active cell into Edit mode and replaces the cell value with the entered characters.
    Single mouse click on an inactive cell Puts the cell into Active mode. There can be only one active cell at a time.
    Single mouse click on the active cell Puts the cell into Edit mode.
    Double mouse click Puts the cell into Edit mode.
    Any click outside a cell in Edit mode Accepts the value entered in the cell.
    Esc Leaves Edit mode and undoes the last entry.
    Esc x2 Leaves Edit mode and undoes all changes.
    Shift + Enter Inserts a line break in the cell.

    In Firefox:

    Action Description
    Tab One cell to the right
    Shift-Tab One cell to the left
    Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, you navigate only in the writeback table. If you are using Firefox, you navigate in all active elements, for example, the buttons for the drill-down. Inside the writeback cells you navigate with the arrow keys.
