Displaying only European countries

This procedure describes how to edit the report so that users can select only Europe or a European country from the Region combo box.

  1. In Design Mode, click the Region combo box.
  2. In the List Designer, click Structure Selection.
  3. Click Functions.
  4. Select Elements underneath > All, Including Parent.
  5. In Selection Settings, at the bottom of Structure Selection, select Europe from the Element list.
  6. Click the Apply changes to the list button and view the report in View Mode.
    Only Europe and the individual European countries are now available in the Region combo box.
  7. Save the report and then create a copy called Tutorial4.
