Printing the current report with the Print Wizard
- Select File > Print Wizard.
- Select Current Report.
-
Click
Next.
The Print Ranges dialog is displayed. Each list view object in the report (for example, a combo box) is listed as a report parameter. By selecting from the list view objects in the report, you display different views of the report data. For example, in a report which has two combo boxes each of which contain four years and four products respectively, there are 16 possible combinations of elements - 16 possible views of the report to print.
-
For each report parameter, select which views of the report to
export.
The options are:
- Automatic: The view for the current element will be exported.
- All Elements: A view for each element in the list object will be printed.
- Selection: The Select Elements dialog is displayed when you select this option. A view for each element that you select will be printed.
-
By default, all views are printed as a single file. Optionally,
select the Split By option for a parameter to generate separate files.
For example: A report has two combo boxes, A and B. In the Export Wizard, you select four elements from parameter A and two elements from parameter B. If you Split By parameter A, four files are generated - one for each element selected from parameter A. Each file contains two views - Parameter A + element B1 and Parameter A + element B2. If you split by parameter B, two files are generated. Each file contains four views - Parameter B combined with each Parameter A element.
