Manage unavailable lists and calculations

A list or calculation can become unavailable for these reasons:

  • It is redundant. This can happen if the database alias for which the list or calculation was defined no longer exists.
  • It belongs to a database alias which is not currently connected.
  • It is a variable list. Application Studio does not determine whether the variable describes a database alias or whether the database alias is connected.

You can remove unavailable lists and calculations from the database in the Manage Unavailable Lists and Calculations dialog.

To remove lists or calculations from the database:

  1. Select Extras > Manage Unavailable Lists and Calculations.
A message informs you if there are calculations which might become available when their database aliases are connected. Click OK.
  2. Click the Unavailable Lists or Unavailable Calculations tab as required.
  3. Select the check boxes of the lists or calculations to remove.
  4. Click Delete.
Confirm that you want to delete the selected lists or calculations.
Note: Do not select the Select All check box unless all lists or calculations are redundant.
