What does a control desk need?
Before you can run a control desk, you must first set up:
- a filter using Filter Designer which defines the selection criteria to be applied, whether the selection criteria is fixed or can be entered at run-time, the sequence the data is to be presented in and the default display form.
- a drill association using Drill Association Designer, if you want to be able to drill through the extracted data.
- the run-time selection criteria form, if it is required, which is generated via Form Designer.
- the display form which determines how the extracted data is displayed which is also generated via Form Designer.
