Amending profiles

Uwaga: To amend a profile in Transfer Desk web, you must be a SunSystems Connect Administrator, or Designer. Power Users can amend the business unit only.
Uwaga: A red indicator is displayed next to incomplete mandatory fields. You must complete these fields before you can run the profile.

To amend an existing import, export, process, internal transfer or external transfer profile:

  1. Open Transfer Profiles (TRP).
  2. Select a profile and click Edit Profile.
  3. If required:
    1. Amend the profile description.
    2. Select a different target or source component, source or target data format or transformation.
    3. Amend the runtime parameters.
  4. If you amend the source or target component, all further details must be re-defined for the new component. Likewise, if you amend the source or target data format, you must redefine all related runtime parameters, attached transformations and any other settings (filtering, summarization, sorting).
  5. Click Save Profile.
    Click Discard Changes if you do not want to save the new changes.
  6. Click Yes to return to the Transfer Profiles dialog or click No to remain in the Transfer Profile Designer dialog.
