Selecting a drill association

The Control Desks Drill Associations dialog allows you to select a drill association to drill down through information on a control desk. This dialog appears if you try to drill down on a data item for which a drill association has not been assigned.

For example, if you are using the Financials Account Inquiry control desk to view the transactions posted to a ledger account you can drill down on the journal number field to display all of the transactions with the particular journal number. In this case the Journal Number drill has been associated with the journal number field and the drill is performed automatically. However, if you choose to drill down on a journal type item the Control Desks Drill Associations dialog appears to allow you to select the drill you want to use. This is because a drill association has not been assigned to the journal type data item.

To select a drill association, highlight the association you require and click OK.
