Reviewing the Authorization Sets for an Originator
An operator may mark many different sets of transactions for authorization and may want to view the status of these authorization sets.
The Authorization Originators In-Tray (AOT) lists the authorization sets created by an originator, and allows you to view the details of the set. It also allows you to delete an authorization set, for example if the transactions no longer need to be processed and therefore no longer require authorization.
If an authorization set has been rejected, the reason for the rejection is displayed. The originator in tray allows you to recall the rejected set into Ledger Entry, for example, to modify certain details, and to resubmit a rejected set for authorization.
- Select Authorization Originators In-Tray (AOT) from SunSystems to display the Selection - ORIGINATOR INTRAY form.
- Enter the originator's operator code. Only authorization sets created by this operator are listed.
- Click to extract the authorization sets.
- These sets are listed on the Authorization Headers form.
- To view the transactions in a set, double click on the Authorization Set Reference field to drill down to the authorization set details. See 'Reviewing an Authorization Set'.
