Temporarily Grouping Ledger Data
Where no other suitable selection criteria exists, ledger transactions can be temporarily grouped into 'saved sets'. This allows these transactions to be selected easily for further processing or viewed on inquiries. Transactions can be added to an existing saved set, or removed from a set. In addition, a saved set can be removed once it is no longer required.
Only the creator of the saved set can update or delete the saved set. If the creator is a member of a user team, all members within that team can update or delete the saved set.
To create a saved set:
- Use a control desk filter to extract the ledger transactions you want to group onto the Control Desks In-Tray. See 'Using Account Inquiry to Extract Transactions onto a Control Desk'.
- Select the Report Process of Saved Set Process and click .
- Providing none of the selected transactions have already been included in an existing saved set, the Saved Set Details dialog appears. It displays with the next sequential Saved Set Number, Operator Code, User Name, Team Name, Date/Time Last Updated, and Comment, a free text area for any comments. You must enter some comments and click to create the saved set.
- A confirmatory message is displayed. Click .
