Recall Provisional Journals (PRJ)
You can use Recall Provisional Journals (PRJ) to display a list of provisional transactions, and select one for amending.
When you use Recall Provisional Journals (PRJ), you can specify selection criteria to limit the list of provisional transactions displayed, in order to help search for the particular journal you want to amend.
To recall a provisional journal:
- Select Recall Provisional Journals (PRJ).
- In the Selection - RECALL PROVISIONAL TRANS form, specify the criteria to filter the list of provisional transactions displayed in order to help you locate your particular journal. Click .
- The results are displayed on the Financials-Journal Inquiry form, listing all of the provisional transactions that meet the criteria you specified in step 2. The results are summarized as one line per journal, however, you can expand each journal to display its individual lines by using , or l.
- Select the journal you want to amend, and click .
- The Find Form List is displayed, with a list of available Ledger Entry forms. This is because when you select a provisional journal for amending, the Ledger Entry function needs to use a form in which you can edit the journal. Select a ledger entry form and click .
- Change the journal transaction details in the normal way. See 'Amending Journal Lines'.
- the journal to save the changes. A message appears indicating that the journal has been re-posted.
