Configuring the Resource Assignment app

To configure the Resource Assignment app:

  1. Click IOS (for IOS) and Settings for android (for android).
  2. Select Settings. The Settings screen is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Company
    The company code. This value is defaulted from the LN user data. The user can modify this field, if required.
    Display Period
    The period displayed. The possible options are:
    • Weeks
    • Months
    Enable Location Tracking
    Select this option to authorize the application to register the GPS location on user actions like starting and completing/finish an assignment.
    Debug Mode
    If this option (toggle) is selected, the application runs in the debug mode.
    Save Assignment hours to Hours Registration app?:
    Indicates if the completed assignment hours of supported origins are saved to the LN Hours Registration app as Unsubmitted hours. Possible Values:
    • On (Enabled)
    • Off (Disabled)
    Note: 
    • This option is enabled only if the Hours Registration app is also installed in the device.
    • The Origins supported are Project, Job shop Order and Project (PCS).
    • The Machine and the Machine Hours are not populated when the hours are saved to the LN Hours Registration app, as the Project (PCS) Assignment does not consider the hour calculations related to Machines.
  4. Click Log Out to disconnect from the app.
  5. Click About to view the details of the app version and third party libraries used in the app.
