Customer Number Reassignment
Use the Customer Number Change Utility to select an existing customer number and specify the new customer number. The new customer number must not already exist in Service Management. Running the utility affects all history records, Ship Tos, units, pricing, contracts, and orders. The current A/R is transferred to the new number.
We strongly recommend that you perform a database backup before you run this utility.
This utility only affects the current site, and must be manually performed against all sites when you have a multi-site system.
