MRRs

Use the Material Review Reports (MRRs) form to manage the process of controlling, reviewing, and dispositioning material that is either known or suspected to be non-conforming.

Create an MRR in these cases:

  • If the receiver exists, record a disposition of QC Hold/MRR using a QCS Inspect/Disposition form.
  • If the receiver does not exist, create a new receiver/MRR using the Quick Receiver/MRR form.

Interim dispositions such as REWORK or RETEST are generally not recorded. When the FINAL disposition is decided, use the Disposition MRR to record it.
