Severity Levels
Use this form to add, change, or delete QC severity level codes.
This form requires the QualityControlSolution license.
Severity level codes are used when you define inspections and tests for an item. The codes indicate the relative importance of a product characteristic to meeting product requirements. In QCS, severity levels are informational only, and do not impact an item's disposition.
Some examples of severity codes include Critical, Major, Minor, or Cosmetic.
