Time and Attendance Error Processing

Use this form to correct time and attendance transactions from data collection tables and post them to CloudSuite Industrial. During posting, the system validates the time and attendance transactions and marks invalid transactions with the status of "Error."

Employees must have matching starting and ending transactions, such as clock-in or clock out. If either is missing, the system assigns a status of "Error." You must correct the transaction using this form before the system will post it to the Time and Attendance Log.

If the transaction has a clock-in and clock-out, and the time of the transaction falls within the grace period on the Shift Codes form, the system sets the post time to the Shift Start/End time.

for example, if an employee clocks in at 07:50 and the Early In/Late out parameter is set to 10 or greater, the system sets the post time to 08:00 and the trans time remains 7:50.

The Auto-Post Time/Attendance field on the Data Collection Parameters form determines if the system posts time and attendance transactions automatically. You must correct all time and attendance transactions with a status of "Error" regardless of whether you select Auto-Post Time/Attendance. After you correct the error transactions, the system changes the status to "Pending." Then you can post the pending transactions to CloudSuite Industrial. When the transactions post successfully, the system stores the records in a log file, which you can access from the Time and Attendance Log form.
