About Portal Catalogs
                        When you set up items, categories, and the item category hierarchy for
                           the Customer and Reseller portals, all portal users see all available items that are active
                           for the portal. To provide only subsets of those items for certain portal users, you can
                           create portal catalogs. Each customer bill-to row can be assigned to one portal catalog, and
                           when a user logs in to the portal, they see only the items specified in that catalog.
